How to use this tool

Choose the summary length and style.
Click Summarize, then copy the result or download it.

This tool needs an AI provider to be configured by the site administrator under Admin → Integrations → AI. Until a key is saved, the built-in extractive summariser is used instead, which selects the most representative sentences from the document without sending anything anywhere.

Is my document sent to an AI service?

Only if the administrator has configured an AI provider and you use that mode. The built-in extractive summariser runs entirely in your browser and sends nothing.

How accurate is the summary?

The extractive mode is faithful by construction — it reuses the document's own sentences. AI mode reads better but can occasionally paraphrase inaccurately, so check anything important against the source.
