About this tool

Frequently asked questions

My file still will not open after repair. Why?

If the page content streams themselves are truncated — a common result of an interrupted download or a failed transfer — there is nothing left to rebuild. Try obtaining a fresh copy of the original file.

Will repairing change my document?

It rewrites the file structure but not the page content. Text, images and layout that survived the damage are reproduced as-is.
