How to use this tool

  2. Choose the output format, quality and DPI — 150 DPI is fine for screens, 300 DPI for printing.

How it works

Pages are drawn onto a canvas at the resolution you pick, then encoded. Higher DPI produces sharper images and larger files; the tool shows the resulting pixel dimensions before you export.

Frequently asked questions

Which DPI should I choose?
150 DPI is right for anything viewed on a screen. Use 300 DPI if the image will be printed. Beyond 300 the file grows quickly with little visible benefit.
Can I extract the original embedded images instead?
This tool renders whole pages. If you need the untouched embedded pictures rather than a page render, that is a different operation — page rendering is what makes the output match what you see.
