What to expect from the outputThis tool works with AcroForm fields, which is what most fillable PDFs use. XFA forms — a different, largely obsolete Adobe format used by some government files — are not supported; those need Adobe Acrobat.

How to use this tool

Load a PDF that contains form fields — they are listed automatically.
Type your answers, tick checkboxes and choose from dropdowns.
Choose Keep editable or Flatten, then save.

Frequently asked questions

No fields were found in my PDF.

The document is probably a flat page with printed lines rather than a real interactive form. Use Edit PDF to type your answers onto it instead.

What does flattening do?

It converts your answers into permanent page content, so the values can no longer be edited or cleared. Use it before sending a completed form.
