How to use this tool

  1. Select your PDF.
  2. Pick the position, format, font size, colour and margin, and set the first page to number.
  3. Check the live preview, then click Add page numbers.

Frequently asked questions

Can I start numbering from page 3?
Yes. Set the first page to stamp, and separately set what number that page should show — so page 3 of the file can display "1".
Can I use Roman numerals?
Yes, lowercase and uppercase Roman numerals are both available in the format list.
